HOW DO I CHANGE MY PROFILE SCREEN NAME?

You can change your profile screen name by clicking on menu opener on the top of the page to display its menu, then click on “profile edit” from the menu on top of the page, then if you are accessing the service from the desktop page you’ll click on screen name on the vertical menu to the left, If on the mobile site, you would have to click on the circular menu opener close to the bottom of the screen to display its menu, then you click on screen name. You would be provided with a form to modify your screen name

HOW DO I CHANGE MY EMAIL AND/OR PASSWORD?

You can change your profile screen name by clicking on menu opener on the top of the page to display its menu, then click on “Account settings” Then you would be provided with a form to edit your Account password and Email Address. Please note that you would be required to provide your account password. If you can’t remember your password or have not provided a password for your account (For users that sign-in with social network), there is a link below the password fields to enable you reset your password. You must have access to the email account currently associated with your Naijaplanet account. If you no longer have access to the account please contact us for assistance.

HOW DO I MODIFY MY PROFILE DATA?

You can modify your profile data by clicking on menu opener on the top of the page to display its menu, then click on “Profile Edit”. Alternatively you can click on Your Full Name on the opened menu to go to you profile. From your profile you would find links to edit portions of your profile including your screen name, photo, location and date preference.

HOW DO I DEACTIVATE MY PROFILE?

By deactivating your profile, your profile remain hosted on our server for a limited period. While it remains on our server, it is not accessible to anyone over the web. But you can still gain access to your account by logging in. You can deactivate your account by clicking on menu opener on the top of the page to display its menu, then click on “Account Settings”, If you are accessing the service from the desktop page you’ll click on “Deactivate Account” on the vertical menu to the left, If on the mobile site, you would have to click on the circular menu opener close to the bottom of the screen to display its menu, then you click on “Deactivate Account”. You would be provided with a form where you would input your account password to deactivate your account.

HOW DO I RE-ENABLE MY PROFILE?

If after you have deactivated your profile and it is still hosted on our servers (has not been deleted). You should login to your account using your account email address and password. While you are logged in, you would see a link to enable you reactivate your profile at the top of the page.

Alternatively, you can follow the instructions you used to deactivate your profile. But instead of a link titled “Deactivate Account” you’ll find “Activate Account”.
