      man, 63 years old

I am seeking a woman, within ages 35 - 50

Lives in Hartlepool, England, United Kingdom.

How I describe myself

Sorry, but now got a partner, if I knew how to remove my profile, I would remove it, but I still like to gist with others and see what others are truly looking for.
But as I say, me and my partner are QUITE HAPPY together. We started to gist in November of 2023, then we first got to meet in person a few weeks after. In March 2nd, she moved in with me. I am not saying it has been a bed of roses, but on the hole, we are quite happy, and she has learned more about me and my ways, and I am getting to better understand her ways. But what I found a bit hard, even that she can speak English, but some of her words are NOT used in England. As 1 day it was raining very heavy, but standing at the bus stop, she told me that the road was DRY ??? This did NOT make sense to me. But I wish I she would speak NOT so much in her dialect of Nigerian, as she speaks Igbo ???
1 other thing, is her NOT trying English food, as even if I put a small amount of food on a teaspoon, she would look at it, and under a bit of protest, put it in her mouth. To see the look on her face, you would think that I was giving her a BIG SPOON of dog 😄. As for me eating her food, I tend not to, as I have never been brought up to eat any spicy 🌶 or having peppers in it. But she MUST go to African shops to buy African chicken, as English chicken in her words, has no taste then cooking chicken for me, I like it like about ALL English people like it to be soft and moist. But she can cook her chicken, then put it in the oven for it to go HARD. But 2 things that I find a bit annoying, is when she eats the bones of the chicken, and then the click click click of her toothpick, as that sound sets off my nerves. Just in the same way as fingernails scratching down a blackboard or when you are digging in the sand and fingernails scratch across a rock or stone.
But the thing that totally drives me mad about her, is when she says things that I know for a FACT that are untrue. When she says that the English came and robbed Africa and took so many slaves. But England was the first country that abolished slavery, and when she says ENGLISH taking slaves, look into HISTORY, as it was fellow Africans who enslaved and sold the slaves to white Europeans, as she never says about Portugal, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Germany. As out of all of them countries, I think by size, England is about the smallest of all them other countries.
I have educated myself over many years and about many subjects, so have quite a good knowledge of how other countries operate, and the reason that a LOT of African countries are in such a bad state, as it is NOT the fact that England is robbing them countries, it all comes down to the CORRUPTION of your fellow countrymen, people who are meant to be doing the best for their country and NOT to make themselves RICH, not happy in just being a bit rich (a good home, good car, good food and good overall lifestyle, but RICH to the point that what they rape out of a country for just 1 year, could make it that EVERYONE gets a good 24/7 electricity supply, also good fresh drinking water, and in time, GAS to all homes for hot water and cooking with. As with them things, life expectancy would improve, and it would create more jobs.
But your leaders are quite happy to put their foot on the back of your neck and hold you down. As someone downtrodden are easily manipulated to do just about anything, even to 😄 others that do not agree with what there leaders say or want.
It is just like when the Nigerian currency got changed, people would NOT accept the old currency, and if they did, what might be 1000 Naira in the new currency, they would want anything between 1100 and 1500 Naira. As here in the UK 🇬🇧 our Queen has passed, and ALL
new coins and bank notes now have the Kings head on them. But in NO WAY was anyone refused or charged anymore that what the cost shown is. So if when the Queen was still alive, something that might have cost £555p, then the new coins and notes would still cost £555p. I know that with inflation, the cost of things in time increasing in value, the item might have gone from
£555p to be now £560p. But the cost would still have changed in price, even if the Queen did not pass.
So until someone can understand all of the different factors, meritocracy speaking is NOT just Black or White. But when you are NOT willing to try to understand why things change, and that they are NOT the same ways things are done in Africa, you have a closed mind, and NOT willing to accept / understand / or change your point of view, then I truly feel SORRY “Pele” for that person.
I know that I might slip in the odd Nigerian words, but it shows that I do try to understand what to say, the right context to use it in and to try and show others that I am a bit knowledgeable about Africa ”Abby”

Well I hope that you can better understand the way I think and feel. But I always admit if I have NOT understood or have fully comprehend what others are saying, I am NOT that big of a nan NOT to admit if I am wrong or misunderstood.

Well hope I have given you a bit more to think about and maybe opened your eyes to see or think in an alternative way.

Well bye to 1 and all, from John Knobby.

P. S. For them who are NOT English or think that they are being respectful to call someone in this way “hello Mr John, or to call them Sir ”as how it should be spoken or written in if you want to use Mr, you put their surname after you put Mr”. Just to let you know, my surname is NOT Knobby, but if it was, the right way to address me would to say or put Mr Knobby. But NEVER to use Sir. You may say Sir depending on the circumstances, but as a rule, we do NOT use or say Sir.

If anyone would like any help in how to correspond to anyone in England, or you are trying to obtain employment, I can do my best to try and help you. As even to know a few right words, can impress a prospective employer and or if you are making an application to try and get a placement at a university in the UK. But I will tell you the Gods honest truth, I would NOT come England to study in a university. As the university charges foreign students a LOT
more that what people from there own country have to pay. As if a British student was to pay £2000, then foreign students may have to pay £3000 or more. Also they make you singe a contract, that you agree to pay a set amount of money at or on a specific day or date. They tend to NOT be lenient or to bend and understand that a foreign student might not have immediate access to them funds. As what they might have access to in Nigeria, you all know that the value of the currency can change day to day. As it is that bad, them Bureau De Change “money changers” they will NOT accept the Naira. So if you.thought that you had enough money to cover the cost of your University fees, you more or less should DOUBLE what you think it will cost. Also if you do NOT have family or good friends who you can stay with, you need to budget to have enough money to last about 6 months. As accommodation is quite expensive, if it is a cheap place to live, you got to think WHY ??? As a cheap place to live, will be in a bad district to live, and or the fact that the property needs things done to it, as your heating might NOT be working, or it has a leaky roof and is wet or damp to live in. If you complain, your landlord can tell you that they have the things in hand and will be dealing with them issues, or they might put your rent up or even kick you out. As even if you go to the law, it is your word against what you have to say. Then they will say that they have a breakdown with communications between you and them. As they know that many are looking for a place to live, no matter how bad a place may be.
But if you have no 1, try and join a group, maybe on Facebook to aske about if anyone has a room to rent. But make sure you get them to put in writing just how much they want you to pay, what responsibilities that they might expect you to do, and that they will NOT increase the cost if there energy costs go up. Also it might be better if you register yourself with the local council, as what can happen, if your landlord does NOT declare that you are both living and paying rent for the place you are staying with, you can be fined and made to pay for a thing called “Council Tax” as your landlord might not be declaring that you are both living and paying rent at that address, as before, it is their word against your word.
In my mind it is better to do things right and to be legal about everything. As even if you think that you can fool the council or the government in anyway, then if you wish to extend your visa, then you might get declined.
But if you are not sure about anything, the BEST place to go, is the C. A. B. “Citizen Advice Bureau” as they will see you first, and then assess who is the BEST person to deal in that field. All of this is free, and for food, ask the CAB about any food banks. If you also need warmer cloths, the UK has so many charity shops. You might be able to buy secondhand shoes that are strong and they probably be heavier than what you use in Africa. it is the same for cloths “cloth”. As I feel that if you have a good set of shoes “or boots” and a GOOD longer and warn coat, the only other thing in my opinion, is to have a GOOD bed. As no matter what, you are going to be in 1 of them things, as if you are NOT walking, you need to keep dry and warm, and if you are not outside, then you probably be in bed. Also about British beds, the mattress is NORMALLY made with springs in it, so can be quite soft. Not many mattresses are made from hard foam. As I was saying about the CAB telling you about food banks, they can also advise the council that you might need a bit of extra help. Then they might give you a special voucher or a letter or even an appointment to attend a sort of food bank. But sometimes they might offer you a duvet, and about 2 carrier bags full of good quality food. They might include some rice, tins of soup and tins of beans. They also might include some coffee or teabags, a bag of sugar and maybe some dried milk powder. But you never know just what they might put in your bags. Do NOT be fussy or picky, saying that instead of a tin of soup, but to offer you 2 tins of beans. As you can always trade with others who might be in that food bank at that time. As something that you do not like or want, might be something that others might like. But do NOT do that when you are in the food bank, but to do it outside. But because then food banks that the council give you the voucher for, they only let you go to that food bank once every 6 months, as some not so nice people try and get as much as they can. As I know of 1 person who would go to 1 of the public food banks, they would get 2 bags full of food. Then she would go into the café in the local Liberty. Then she would offer to sell as much of the FREE FOOD that she was given. If she goes and sells that food, it is like robbing the food that some other person might need, as they have NOTHING. What some do, is sell what they are given for free, only to get money to buy drink “Alcohol” or to pay towards buying drugs with. But you also get some who go to them food banks as a business. As I have seen a mercy’s bends car park around the corner so they are not seen by them running the food ban. So if in a car there are 4 people in it, they might be given a loaf of bread each, a few tins of soup or any other things, then they pack up the car and drive to the next food bank. So in 1 town, they might go to 4 different food banks and get the same from each bank. But the part of England that I live in, you can start in 1 town and go to 4 food banks, then go to the next town. So between the first town and the town that I live in, they can go to about 4 to 5 different towns, then move on to the next few towns. So let’s say that only to get a loaf of bread in 3 of the food banks, then that would be 12 loafs of bread, and by the time they finish going to the other towns, then they could get another 16 loafs of bread. So in total they can get approximately 28 loafs of bread, and that is just in 1 day. As the average price of a loaf of bread is around £1, but you can also pay over £2 a loaf depending on the brand of bread. Now the tins of food are around £1, so they might get 3 tins from each food bank. So potentially they can get about £84. Add that onto the bread comes to £112. Now if let’s say you add on an extra £30, so that comes to £142. Singularly they do NOT add up to much. But as a whole, it adds up to a substantial amount of money. As I know for a fact them people have a shop. So not only are they supplying their own shop, but they are making a 100% PROFIT.So in reality, they are stealing food from people who might have NOTHING to survive from.
I was always told by my Grandmother, that to look after the pennies, then you can start to save £ pounds. If I ever found a single penny on the floor, I would bend down and pack it in my pocket.
My partner thought I was being tight with my money. But if someone has money to throw away, I will take it and pack it into my pocket. Then after a few months, my partner would pack a single penny into her pocket. Now in a year, she has picked up around about £7. I know it is NOT a lot of money, but it is money more than I “she” had before. And with that small amount of money, she was able to pay towards a nice gift for me. But I pick up every single coin that I find. I give her the copper coins, the 1 and 2 pence coins, I keep the silver coins and when I go out to the town or go anywhere, I tend to spend notes, and whatever coins I have remaining in my pocket, I give her the small copper coins and put the silver coins into my bottle that I keep all of my change in, as not only the silver 5p coins, we have the 10p coin, the 20p coin and the 50p coins. Then after that, I put in the £1 coin and also the £2 coins. Every now and then, I tip out all of the coins and then count them. No matter on how much I have in the bottle, I will put 20 of the £1 coins to make up a banks £20 cash bag. Then I put it in a safe place. So if I am TOTALY broke, I can go to the safe place and get several bags of coins and take them to my bank. Then I will have enough money to cover whatever my bill “debit” comes to. My partner has transferred money from her account into my account. If she does this, I go MAD with her, as I do NOT want my bank to pay off a bill that I could pay off at a later date without incurring any additional bank charges. So now if she wants me to have any money from her, I have told her to
Withdrawal the money from her account and then give me the cash into my hand. As it gives me control of who gets what and when I decide to pay them. I also do NOT like the fact that the British government can get information of how much money that you have in your bank account and how or where you got it from.
I know if you are a student, you are able to work 20 hours a week, but by some luck, if you earn £1000 or more in a month, you MUST pay taxes
If by any chance, you are able to stay or live in the UK, the chances of getting any work that is what we call “cash in hand” or under the counter cash is VERY remote, as an employer, it is NOT worth the chance of being caught paying someone for doing unofficial work, then both the law and the arm of the government that collect taxes, can or will come down very hard on them. As the employer can be put in prison for 5 years and a unlimited amount of money as a fine, so as well as 5 years in prison, they might have to pay £10000 for each employee. So it is ALWAYS better to go down the right path.
1 other thing my Grandmother taught me, was about paying my bills. As no matter on how much you earn, ALWAYS pay for your rent. That way you ALWAYS have a place to live in. Next, pay off your energy bills, as you are able to stay warm and be able to cook hot food and have hot water to wash with. Then buy your food and other general household supplies. Then whatever you have left over, half it. Put half of that in your bank if you want to, but I keep mine in a safe place. Then out of what is left, decide that by 7. As that is the daily amount you are able to spend. But if you do NOT spend what you have leftover from the day before, do NOT do that. As then put that in a different safe place. Do that every day and every week, then by the end of the year, the money that you had NOT spent, it can be used to buy Christmas gifts for your family at first, then if you have any special friends, you can spend it on them. But as before, if you have NOT spent all of it up. That way you can accumulate some money, as 1 thing that the British government do NOT like to see, is anyone who has accumulated ANY wealth. Then if you are asked were you got this money from, all you got to tell them that it was money left to you from a trust. As that is an other way to hang on to your money, to put it in a trust fund, as that is a private system for you to save your own money, as you ask the trustees to deposit a set amount of money into your own bank account. 1 other thing, is you have to pay TAX on your savings, but if you borrow money and you are technically in debt, then you pay NO tax. So if you know someone who is willing to trust you to line you let’s say 1 million £POUNDS, and you use that what in fact is NOT your money. Them with that money you buy something that some other person or business wants, may it be a product or a building. Then with the profit you make, you then pay off 99% of your debt and pocket a healthy sum of money. As no matter on how much profit you make, as long as you stay in debt, you should never have to pay tax. As that is how the rich stay rich and keep the poor people down. Also hire the BEST Accountant you can get. As I good accountant can move money and legally manipulate the numbers to say whatever he wants them to says.
The biggest problem in the world today, is the normal person THINKS that money (cash in your pocket) is the be all and end all. As they only see the face value of of that money. As what happens if a several BIG banks that hold a vast wealth of paper money, and it all goes up in flames 🔥 has the bank LOST that money ??? It might be physically destroyed or lost to the inferno, it the truth is that they have NOT lost a single penny, not even if the government had just the week before STOPPED all the printing of money. As money of today is NOT a physical thing, as it only exists as ones and zeros. As in Germany in the not so long past, the value of their money was meaningless. Some used the paper money to light their fires to keep warm. A man was arrested for stealing a loaf of bread, as rightly next to the bread was a very large basket 🧺 FULL of their bank notes as the loaf of bread was MORE valuable than all of the money in the basket. I remember going to Romania a number of years ago, as they were going through a transference of currency. As the country to try and give the impression of being wealthy, they kept on adding a 0 to the end value of their currency. As to an outsider, it looked as if the workers were getting a lot of pay, but what was called the Rumanian Leu, got changed to the Romanian Lei. As what they basically did, as them that did not know the true value, was to remove the last 2 zeros from their original bank notes. So what was before 50000 in the old currency, then became just 500 in the new currency. Sounds a bit like the Nigerian Naira, as when my partner says something costing 100000 N, I have to ask her what is that in English. But what she first has to do, is convert it from the N to the American $, then from the $ to the £. So value of N1000000 to the $Dollar is around $6558, and $6558 Dollars to UK 🇬🇧 £ Pounds works out to be just £5017p. So what to many sounds like a LOT of money, works out to be a Hell of a LOT less. That is why you see a lot of the baggers who are normally white British, sitting outside of a shop or bank, as they can get no less than £10, and that is the lowest estimate for me to say, as I know that they get a LOT more than that. As I was talking to a shop owner. 1 of the so called beggars would go into his shop to change all of the doings that he had for paper money, and the shop owner told me that on a BAD day, this guy might ONLY get around £50. But on a GOOD DAY, he bought in well over £100. Now this guy is NOT homeless, he smokes cigarettes every single day, and normally has at least 1 can of beer or larger if not a full 6 pack. Now by no fault of my own, I have a few health issues, so I am unable to work. Now in the UK, if for any reason you are not able to work or find a job, the Government will look after you, as they give you enough money to cover the cost of your rent, and also money for food, so there should be NO reason for someone sitting outside of a shop or bank begging. I remember in the local Library there was a small caffe. 1 lady was saying to her friend that it must be a shame for this guy to be sitting on the cold hard floor, just to get enough money for him to survive. I was NOT able to hold my tongue, as I pointed out to her that this guy had a house that he rented off the local Council. And that if anything, I probably was a bit more hard up than him. As I told her that IF he only got just £10 a day, and he sat for 5 days, he would make himself £50 a week. And all of that money was TAX FREE, and on top of what the Government gave him. So I pointed out the FACT, that he should declare that he was getting a thing called “unearned income” so he should get a REDUCTION of Government benefits. As I told the ladies that I could do a hell of a LOT of I was GIVE a extra £50 a week, as that works out at £2600 a year, that was if he sat every single week of the year. But I also told them about what that shop owner had told me, that he would get anything between £30 and £100 a DAY. Then on top of that, he had a dog, NOT a small dog , 1 that would need at least a full tin of dogfood a day. So not only did he get money and some also gave him tins of food for himself, but tins of dogfood for his dog. I mentioned that he would take all of his coins into the shop who I knew the owner, as what he told me next, it made my blood boil 😡🤬 as he would try to exchange some of the tins of food for cash. As he wanted to sell a tin of food for just £025p, a quarter of it’s true value, and the shop owner could make quite a good profit. But it was NOT only the human food that he wanted to sell, as he wanted to sell the tins of dogfood. As the town that I live in is relatively small, just about everyone knows everyone. So I knew several guys who lived in not only the same district as this guy, but 2 of them lived in the same street as him. What I got told did NOT surprise me, as he knew people who owned dogs of their own. So this guy every single week, would go to them and sell them the dogfood at 50% of it’s true cost. So I fact, he was earning quite a lot of money, probably around £300 to £500 a week. All of this on top of what the Government gave him. Sorry to say, and I tend NOT to wish any harm or bad things to others, but I would feel no loss if the Government or the law came down on him and took away his dog and evicted him from the 3 bedroomed house that he got as he had been married before, but his wife abandoned him when his drinking and drug use became out of hand. I know of several family’s who would highly benefit from being in a 3 bedroomed house, even if it is not in the best of district of the town.
But the thing is, he is NOT the only 1 who sits out begging. But this so called lady, I do not know her age, as the way she dresses and the general overall appearance of her, makes it very difficult even try to calculate her age. But no matter what her age may be, if it was a sister, cousin, auntie or even God forbid “MOTHER” I would NEVER let her get to the stage in her life to become as bad as her. As there used to be a public bench for people to sit inter the dappled shade of a tree. But that bench was overtaken by the downs and outs of the town. As all they would do all day, was to talk in a loud manner, to be using foul language in the presence of young children, and to sit and her drunk on cheap beer 🍺 or cans of strong cider 🍺 a alcoholic drink made by the fermentation of apples 🍎 as a sweet cider can taste quite nice. But NOT to be drank in the way to just get drunk. I have seen any a time when some of the younger generation, I am talking about the ages from 16yo to around early 40’s. And time after time it seems to always end when an argument takes place and then a physical fight ensues. But does anyone intervene, and you never seem to see the presence of the Police Force, even for the FACT
that NOT 15 yards away from them is a security camera, a 1 that can pan and tilt. Even if or when the police do turn up, they seem to do NOTHING. As many of them who are drunk, are on first name terms with the police. I think the reason to why NOTHING seems to get done, is down to the FACT
that the law is powerless, as the amount of work it takes to proses just 1 of them, ties up the time of at least 2 police officers for more than well over an entire hour. And even if the person goes to court, the Judge will probably NOT incarcerate them, as the cost to both the police, the court and the Judge will cost the taxpayers several hundreds of £ pounds, all they get is a suspended sentence and told NOT to do it again
England now is a powerless country, the migrants (and this is my own opinion) the Muslims THINK that England is their country. As I have seen race related incidents, and what makes it worse, is when a group of younger Muslims tell the people in their own country, that this area is not just ran by the Muslims, but British subjects get told that they are NOT welcome in that area, it is becoming a Muslim ran country.
As about all of them illegal immigrants in my eyes seem to be Muslim. Now work this out, someone who is willing to have walked all the way across mainland Europe, to travel through many different countries that are SAFE countries and are NOT involved in whatever war they are running from, then to come across a physical border that is 1 of the busiest shipping lanes in all of the world, to them attempt to cross this border by the use of small inflatable boats, if we can call them that. To NOT have a radio onboard or to have a radar reflector to try to let bigger ships of their presence, and many of them boats are NOT fit for purpose. Then as soon as they land on British soil or are picked up be British Government safety craft, and the very first thing that they do is have a BIG smile on their faces, knowing that all they have to do, is to say that they are asylum seekers, and are processed and given a clean warm dry place to live, and to get free food, it makes my blood boil. As 1 of the BEST hotels in the town that I live in, it dose NOT house a few of them, but they are housed on 2 full floors of a hotel that costs around £70 per night per person. I know for a FACT that on floor 2 and floor 3 both have approximately 16 rooms. And let’s say that they are able to put 2 people in 1 room, that works out at 32 rooms with 64 MEN living in them. Even if the hotel gives the local council a discount, to o my charge £50 for each person, then the local council has to pay £3200 per night, so in a week, that comes to £22400. So for let’s say a that a month consists of 28 days, then the council will have to pay out £89600.
Just so you know that I am NOT racist, as my partner with whom I live with is a black Nigerian woman, then I think that might exclude me as being a racist.
Now my partner came to the UK for her to attend Sunderland University, and all at a great cost and expense to her and her family
She is NOT able to receive ANY form of Government support or assistance or even funding. As I might have put before, foreign students have to pay MORE money than what British students have to pay. So all of the time that we dated and she was living with a Nigerian family who were of NO relation to her, she was ment to pay rent, and food was NOT included in with her rent. But it was quite common for the lady of the house, to ask her to look after her 4 children, just so she was able to go to work and get more money. But for her doing all of them services, she was NOT given any free weeks of not paying rent, or was she offered any meals with the family or with the children, as she would even do cooking, cleaning and I was NOT able to stay over for the night, even that I fully understood that there would be NOTHING untoward’s going on between us, as I can fully respect the feelings and cultural differences between me been a white British guy and all of them being of African (Nigerian) descent and cultural beliefs and backgrounds. As I am a bit more familiar to the beliefs of others. Then 1 night the man of the house asked me if I had my sleeping bag in my backpack, as I like to sleep in something that I know that no 1 else has slept in before me, as I would tend to book myself into a hotel to stay the night. As it was impractical for me to endure the time and expense of trekking up to go through the whole expense and the time it would take for me to travel both ways up to the city that she was living in, and for me to have to come back home.

But 1 night the man of the house told me that I could stay, as long as I was in my sleeping bag in a different room, in the living room on the settee as I could use it as a bed. I was told by the man of the house, that there was no point of me staying in an expensive hotel, as I could sleep in the sleeping bag. Even that I fully respected his home, and even when his girls came into the room, they did NOT see anything unto-wards. But that was the 1 and only time that he permitted me to stay over for the night, and I know for a FACT, 100% NOTHING happened during the night. I did NOT go up the stairs to use the bathroom, nor did anyone come downstairs when I was sleeping. As I would NOT want to let anyone stay over for the night if something had came downstairs, as I was NOT brought up to disrespect someone’s home and or feelings of mistrust, but that is just me.
But unfortunately my partner did NOT have a job at that time, so the money that she did have was disappearing quicker than she imagined. As a result of that, her rent became overdue. But she did NOT inform me of this fact. As I think that she was a bit embarrassed to be asking a relative stranger to help her or to ask me for money. She assured both the man and woman of the house, that she would make good on her debts, but first she needed to find a job. Even that all of this time, she was attending to the 4 children. As if the lady of the house was to hire a child minder, it would cost her a lot more than what my partner owed in back rent. As soon as she came back from University, they might be a note asking her to collect the children from school, to cook them something for dinner and then to help them complete their homework. Something a child minder might NOT do. As there is a BIG difference between a child minder and someone who is acting as a responsible parent, even though the children were NOT of any relationship to her.
But it all came to a head, when 1 night I had booked a hotel for the 2 of us to stay, as we NEVER got any alone time. For me it was good brake from child minding and be able to sit and just hold hands. I am
NOT saying that all we did was to hold hands, but by that time we had been doing for several weeks, and the most I received was a goodnight kiss when I would leave the house of the Nigerian family.
Then on that night of is staying together, she received a phone call from the husband. He was DEMANDING all of her back rent. I know it was just £30 a week, and it was coming up to the fourth week. Me and her had been discussing her options. As she was very close to the end of her university course, and she just got a small job. But I did NOT like the attitude towards her after all of the times she had cut her study group short, just so the wife could get an extra shift at the place she worked, as it appeared that they were only money mad 🤪 and money was there God and there King.
So it was the straw that broke the camels back by the BAD attitude of the husband. But my partner did NOT want any conflict. So I told her to give it a week and see if his attitude had changed or improved. But only on the very next day, did the husband decide to let all rip. He DEMANDED full and total payment, so I put the money into her bank account to get him off her back. Then I told her to start packing her load, and the very next day when she had went back to the house, I had booked her an Uber to bring her directly to my home. I told her NOT to except a palace, as I was man who lived alone, and anything that I might have been using, I knew that it would be in the exact place that I had left it at. As I have NO children, and both of my sisters k ew that my place would be messy. It might have been messy, but it was NOT dirty so as soon as she got out of the Uber, I told her straight, if she criticised the place I call home, she could do 1 of 2 things She could eat humble pie and make it up with the family she had left from, or she could help me make my flat from a place to live, I to a home for both of us. I could see by the way she looked, she was taken aback by ALL of the things I had taken many years to accumulate , as I knew that her interests were poles apart from my any of my interests. Also I might do or save something that she would NOT have a clue in what I had planed in my mind. As I like to eat ice lolly’s, but I would ALWAYS save the lolly sticks
I had gathered quite a LOT of them, then 1 day, some had gone missing ??? But like every time I ask her about the location of something, I always got the response of “well it MUST be here in the flat”. Well as it was only her and me in the flat, and I knew that I had NEVER moved the item in question, it MUST have been her who had moved it. You do NOT need to be Sherlock Holms to work out who had moved the items in question. It was about a week later that I had found the items. They were on the TOP of a cupboard. A place that I could never reach without having to use a set of stepladders 🪜
So several weeks later, I took ALL of the lolly sticks and put them in water and some bleach to sterilise them. Then after leaving for a few days, I washed them off and let them dry. Once I sorted them out, I started to make a fruit bowl. It was only then could she see the reason for me to be saving all of them lolly sticks. After it was all completed, she was very surprised by the ability to create something of beauty from what others would class as scrap. I had enough to make a slightly smaller fruit bowl. So now she knows that if I save something, I will have a reason for me to save it, but it might not be obvious in just what I am creating.

Anyway, I must say SORRY for me going off on a tangent, it is just my nature to be gisting more than I should. So Pele “or E’Pele” to any elders who deserve RESPECT.
I am also going off for now Abby, as my words have ran dry.

My attempt to try and speaking a bit of the Nigerian 🇳🇬 to try and impress others emu pathetic effort.
